De tre universiteten i Stockholm har erhållit Linnéstöd innebärande mellan 5 och 10 MSEK årligen i max 10 år. Karolinska Institutet för The Human Regenerative Map, Individualized prediction and prevention of breast and prostate cancer and Center for Research on Inflammation and Cardiovascular. Stockholms universitet för Linneaeus Centre for Social Policy and Family Dynamics in Europe and for The CosmoParticle Collaboration, CPC och slutligen KTH för Advanced optics and photonics.
