Sweden Science Net 2.0

Sweden ScienceNet (SSN) continues to work to lay the foundation of a national platform for management of research information and has now entered a new phase - SSN 2.0 armed with a new, three year basic budget from Vinnova.

Four new universities have been invited to participate and the first out to join is Linköping University. Within the SSN 2.0 framework there will also be an expansion of at least one subject area. Further news for SSN 2.0 is activities aimed at a more efficient application process and improved dialogue between universities and financiers. Consequently a further three state financiers have been invited to participate namely the Swedish Council for Working Life and Social Research (Fas), the Swedish Research Council Formas and the Swedish Research Council (VR).
