Stockholm Science City (SSC) has, within the framework of cluster building, developed an initial model for joint university and business/industry projects.
This model is illustrated as below:

Pilot project - Indoor Environment

The pilot project Indoor Environment has really taken off. After the Stockholm BioScience analysis for choice of sector and the interview phase in order to select researchers from Karolinska Institutet, the Royal Institute of Technology and Stockholm University, the initial meeting was held on 10 January. Eleven researchers and one financier from a property company participated. A poll of the meeting participants showed that they felt it was successful. Several multi-disciplinary contacts were initiated after this meeting. Another six financiers were present at the second meeting on 7th March. This was also judged successful.
